Very sad news indeed. Met him plenty of times (non music related), and he was always a true gent, generous, modest and friendly to a fault. RIP
The Stone who wasn't a twat. RIP.I predict the others will carry on without him. Because they're twats.

I read Keef's book and he's quite the bitch.
The only Stone he wasn't fackin orrible about was Charlie, whom he had great respect for.
He is also not too scathing about Ronnie, but then they did spend a lot of time freebasing cocaine together
Charlie once quoted Keith as saying 'what else are we going to do?'
That's the life.
Indeed, given the luck that has afflicted some in his profession.Sad news indeed
The fact any of them made it as far as 80 is a miracle tbf
they were lovely lads etcNot a Stones fan myself but I admired Watts. And the man could dress sharp - all accounts suggest he was a thoroughly decent bloke, but he looked like an associate of the Krays.
i don't know anyone who has any of the albums after black and blue
This feels like massive news.. like part of the furniture being removed.
Love the Stones purple period... Went to see them 4-5 years ago at the London Arena and really didn't enjoy the gig. Rock n roll.
Such a cool player - this vid's from Scorsese's films of gigs at New York’s Beacon Theatre in October and November 2006 - one camera fixed on Watts.
