I watched the first two episodes. It's alright, they've basically copied the same idea as Everybody Hates Chris, but it's not as funny. The kid who plays Alan is fantastic, it's just a shame the supporting cast are a bit rubbish.

We've watched several episodes - I think its pretty funny. Completely skewers 1980s homophobia as well.

I like Carr and would feel duty bound to watch any sitcom set in Northampton where I also grew up.

Not happy with Alan Carr after him and that Dr Who bloke took the piss out of my mate’s biological mum (someone well known on the streets of Northampton) on his chat show some years ago

Just finished it. It's entirely watchable if you can overlook some of the caricatured supporting cast. The best thing by far is Oliver Savell playing young Alan, he's absolutely brilliant.
