Indeed.
But the fact that Austin feels unable to join them does rather illustrate what a narrow church of doctrinaire remainers they are. I'm wondering to what extent all this PV froth is just that with them...I reckon they're looking at the longer (post-Brexit) political landscape and seeing themselves as the mirror image of UKIP (maybe UK[non]IP?) plying a consistent and relentless told you so/hell in a handcart narrative. How that plays with/against the LD rump is, of course, and interesting one.
