I actually quite like that building - I like the ripple effect, which is quite clever.

However, maybe that's just in the context of Vauxhall/Nine Elms. We went through it last night and the area just looks awful. It is indeed a 'mess of skyscrapers'; it's even worse than Lewisham central and that's saying something! How on earth do town planners think this is acceptable?

The worst thing about the development of areas like this is the complete lack of pedestrian-friendliness.

perhaps a bit twee I know but have you never noticed this building. When viewed from the other side, it appears to have a hole going right through it about 10 stories up.

Lovely walk!
We did part of that as an Urban walk earlier this year, although we started on the canal near King's Cross station, went through Camden and the north side of Regent's Park and exited for pubbage in St John's Wood - it's nice to walk along the canal there :)

Regent's Park looked wonderful yesterday!

One of the artists asked my Chigung teacher if he would hold an hour's class by her exhibit every Sunday for five weeks so I was able to have a good look around and read about each one.
Hard to choose a favourite but I do like Theaster Gates work, nice and chunky
