The RS is one of the many pubs we tried to get into but couuldn't due to sheer packedness post our thwarted fireworks excursion the other week...it's a tad of a hike across the heath but I've heard it's good - isn't there music there too sometimes?

Quite a good idea for a London walk. Start off at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, walk up through Greenwich park via the Observatory for piccies, walk across Blackheath (maybe with some kite flying ) then do a crawl for the rest of the afternoon/evening

Afraid its pretty much been done all ready.. There was the Blackheath walk which saw William of Walworth almost breaking into a trot across the Common at the sight of the pub in the distance..

And there was the Woolwich walk following the Green Chain which ended up at Falconwood.
