RIP Bob. At least you got to say goodbye though. Sounds like he was in a nasty accident which often means they aren't seen again.
I'm so sorry mate.No good news I'm afraid. Vet has said there is no positive prognosis. Just waiting to go in and be with him for his last moments
Lost one of my cats to this too.Sorry to hear this.
The same happened to one of our old cats. Came down in the morning to fing her unable to more her back legs.
Called the vet in for the same conclusion.
Have had a little read about that. Doesn't seem likely as Bob had no pain reflex in his back legs rather than extreme pain. Still, doesn't change its horrible. Thanks for sharing though as helps to try to make sense of thingsSo sorry. This is sounds like saddle thrombosis. I lost my boy to that. Horrendous thing to go through. This makes me sad!
Thanks. I'm OK I guess. Just glad it was all quick and he didn't have a long drawn out suffering. Plenty of other hairy beasts around the house so I suppose that helps not to feel so empty about it allHope you're OK Mumbles274
Give your other fluffy beasts an extra hug.Thanks. I'm OK I guess. Just glad it was all quick and he didn't have a long drawn out suffering. Plenty of other hairy beasts around the house so I suppose that helps not to feel so empty about it all
Already given his brother Blue a big cuddle. Can't help but wonder if he'll know he's gone/miss him etcGive your other fluffy beasts an extra hug.
If your boy had no pain,. It doesn't sound like it was this.Have had a little read about that. Doesn't seem likely as Bob had no pain reflex in his back legs rather than extreme pain. Still, doesn't change its horrible. Thanks for sharing though as helps to try to make sense of things
He was distressed but certainly not in acute pain so yeah, as you said, glad of small merciesIf your boy had no pain,. It doesn't sound like it was this.
My boy was in so much pain he screamed all the way to the vets. Horrible horrible experience.
I'm glad your boy wasn't in pain. It doesn't change it for you. You've still lost him. But at least he wasn't in pain.
Thinking of you. It hurts like hell when we loose them.
