so no it's not selling for less this xmas than last. the 60gig (the real non fucked/crippled station 3) is exactly the same price other than shops lowering it by £30 to try and clear units.

it'll run better on the machine with the best hardware in your house is the easy answer. if that's your pc then it's the pc version if it's your 360 then it's the 360 verison if it's your ps3 then it's your ps3.... you see how this works...

Played the first level (cargo ship) last night on PC. Wow, very impressive. No slowdown at all on pretty high graphics settings. Very cool

This game is fucking brilliant. I got it last week. Family commitments meant I didn't get a proper go until yesterday. That mission when you're in the plane is awesome. Incredibly realistic, to the point that I felt a bit bad about shooting people. I'm on the sniper level now.
Does anyone know where I can get some tips on setting this up with my PC? I've got dual core AMD, 8600GT, 2Gb RAM, so should be able to do better than 800x600 with most tweaks switched off? Frame rate goes down the shitter if I try to up the settings.
Also, when people quote frame rates, how do they know what they are? Do you need to issue a console command?

Double the RAM and double the graphics card capacity and if you can get a new chip.
I like Headquarters or sabotage on hardcore with a respawn cool down.
Recently I have taken to using the M4 again, with the agoc using bandolier, double tap and steady aim. Double Tap ftw.

Usually I use an Agoc m4 with double tap unless the sitaution changes...
For sneaking I use a silenced g36c with Bandolier, double tap and steady aim. I find the double tap compensates for the silenced and it gives enough kick to defend yourself if you get a UAV spotting you.
If its time for maximum carnage I have a red dot m4 & and Agoc M60 with 3 grenades and deep impact.
I use an M16 with agoc, bandolier, increased damage and penetration for sniping. Why use one bullet when you can have 5?
I love the M60, you can go from long distance 1 shotting to blasting a helicopter out of the sky.
