came up on teh tweeter today, someone has posted a video of Bourbonese Qualk live at 121 Centre in 1993

(whoever the heck they are - i came to the conclusion pretty quick that it was not my thing, but may be of interest)

pretty sure I was there, bourbonese qualk were experimental/industrial band, they have a lot more music covering a much wider range than the one in thid video and some pretty good stuff too, also pretty sure they "had/were involved in" a record shop on wandsworth road on the same block of building that include the surprise pub or the next one along by larkhall park

Sounds like that could have been Recommended Records who were at 387 Wandsworth Road. It was a record label and outlet for many left-field artists inc Faust, This Heat and Sun Ra. Founded by Chis Cutler of Henry Cow.

Never saw this post in 2023. The Tweet IS available despite a message saying not.
I saw the Cimarons ar Manchester University Union in about 1974 - supporting \Ken Boothe.
I thought they were great, but Ken Boothe was not up to his Top of the Pops hit persona, notwithstanding his day-glo shiny gold jump suit.
They have all been around even longer than me, which is saying something!
