Britain's biggest morons burn cardboard Grenfell Tower on bonfire

I was going to say that 500k might not be that huge a figure for London. I couldn’t afford it though. Or even half that.

If bought in the 90's that would have been under £100k, which would have been within reach of (for example) a tube driver. Not really reeking of middle class Tory affluence. But of course, £500k today is out of reach of nearly everyone unless they already have a foot on that grubby ladder.

Smokeandsteam - a very non-descript 3 bed, 1930's semi in south London with two geriatric, low to mid-range cars outside does not reek of middle class tory privilage.

sorry to disappoint...

I'm not disappointed at all. I am pleased that earlier assertions that sought to demonise a particular area and stereotype its citizens has proven well wide of the mark. The 'reeking' remark directly relates to that.

It does say that those who had concluded the stunt 'reeked' of an area were wide of the mark.

Yeah well that was always going to backfire. Twats with estuary accents are not exactly rare beasts, more's the pity, and are certainly not limited to a single habitat.

The house price was reported by the media.
But posted here by you without any mention of source, AFAICS.

You appear to be claiming expert knowledge of the class significance of house prices in this part of London, so out of interest where would you put the cut-off point between a wc and mc house?
