Oh man ska invita you have no idea how happy you just made me. I have had this for years on a tape from a rave i went to in early 92 and nobody has ever been able to ID it. I've been asking for "a tune with a buzzing bass-line and some voice going 'dah dah'" and I just got blank expressions for over 20 years.

Fucking get in!!!!!:D:D:D:D

Thanks again mate but I'm going to be in trouble as I've done no work last hour going through this thread again....I should've started from the last page not the first:facepalm::D

it's something I've been meaning to do for years. perhaps this might give me a kick up the backside to get it done.

MURDOCK: "IN BELGIUM, DRUM AND BASS MEANWHILE LONG BEEN VERY POPULAR."

Drum and bass is in Belgium for years a popular music movement that is increasing in significance. Pretty much every major festival programming drum and bass and many clubs and venues have their own drum and bass night. One of the founders of the contemporary Belgian drum and bass scene is Hans Machiels, better known as Murdock. Along with Netsky he founded Radar Records, and he also organizes the famous Rampage events. Marc talked to him about his views on today's drum and bass, Radar Records and Belgian drum and bass scene.

also this looks like a summer DNB Festival in Belgium! No in fact its a dance festival with a big DnB arena...

I was on a no borders, black block action in Brussels in the early 2000s. We ended up in in this bit of the old town with cobbled streets. The plod had clearly had enough and decided we weren't going any further so they blocked all the street coming and going. We have a large truck with us as a support vehicle. When it was apparent we weren't going anywhere the side came down to reveal a sound system. What did they play? Old skool Belgian techno :cool:

I nearly came in my pants. We were surrounded by bars and shops and had a monster rig knocking out some classic anthems. Best. Kettle. Ever.

*cough

lots of belgium new beat nestled amongst proto techno & house in this mix.....

tracks from the likes of Yello, Front 242, The Erotic Dissidents, Fatal Error and more.
