Yet again you're so busy stroking your own (doubtless fabulous) ego that you entirely miss the point.
the clinical approach to music is one i recommend avoid, because music is not like that - and songwriting sure isnt either.

I thought that the main issue was that the engineers themselves were the problem, rather than a lack of equipment (I'm going by what an uncle, an apprentice at Parlephone, told me about the studio culture of the time)?
I can't recommend enough Recording The Beatles, for anyone with even a passing interest in recording, it's an incredible book.

thanks. I found it very disturbing and I jumped when I read it (from someone quoting, as I have El Jefe on ignore).

now its death threats? on a fucking beatles thread. ive really had it with you editor and your shonky FAQ. what else editor? what else???

i know you wont ban him as he needs this place right now, so i wont ask to ban him either (even though ANYONE else would be banned for at least 24 hours for posting death threats on the internet)

I would ask instead that el jefe put me on ignore IMMEDIATELY as i have done with him. i find it fucking offensive and disturbing to be getting death threats on Urban and next time will report it to the police.
