I pity anyone who finds themselves in Barry at any time.For anyone who finds themselves in Barry on a Saturday or a Tuesday, a great way to spend an hour is to check out the old bus station opposite the Savoy. The people there will show you round all the old buses that are being preserved or renovated. It's great. I learnt that Cardiff had electric powered double deckers in the 50s!

Thanks for doing your best to wreck my home town.School friends and I at Butlins, Barry Island, 1983. Our school took us there in the off season for a
week of activities and shit. There were several other schools there at the time, plus a rather large group
of older Mods in their late teens/early twenties roaming about. Suffice to say, it was a week of fighting
the other schools, avoiding a kicking from the Mods, and just generally wreaking the place as best we could.
Our school was banned from ever going back there again.
