Men's Triple Jump interesting, Cuba could have had a 1-2-3 but all defected athletes and now representing Spain, Portugal and Italy.

It is a very silly event, for all the skill and endeavour.

Really really good run from him. He's the best of the three in the GB team and really showed it today. 4th is the worst place to come isn't it!

Very pleased for him. I didn't watch the race as not feeling very well today. He usually just runs with a basic casio doesn't he. Obviously works for him.

Probably a silly question but I had the relay medal ceremony on mute last night and noticed GB had 6 people on the podium while USA had 4? What’s that all about?

I know he was talking about Muir - she got a PB as well as Georgia Bell.

My second post was talking about Bell though, should have made that clearer.

Bizarrely the mens high jump could have just ended exactly as it did in Tokyo, 2 jumpers in tied 1st place as identical records. Different people this time however with Hamish Kerr and Shelby McEwen playing the Tamberi and Barshim roles.

No shared gold however (I thought they might actually) as they have decided to jump on to win it outright.
