Athletics - Running and Jumping and Throwing and stuff!

much closer this time - Blake was making him run this time ! Bolt back for the triple double in Rio?

I prefered the shot looking straight down the last 100m - in the crowd behind Bolt, there was a woman in a red tabard who looked like she bashing a console controller in order to make him go faster.

I liked him chatting to the young girl behind him. Bet she's straight on the internet after work to tell everyone Usain spoke to her :D

He fist bumped a cameraman on his lap of honour :D He is very funny watching him interact with the crowd. The officials have to keep telling him to get a move on :D

Rudisha gets his gold medal. Sadly it seems that the earlier prediction on the BBC that the 200m would massively overshadow his quite phenomenal achievement has come true.

Well if the cameras stopped concentrating on Usain Bolt on concentrated on Rudisha's cheekbones instead, I'd be a lot happier

Annoying that they did that. Just cover each race on its merits. The 800 had some amazing merits.

That when he got tested, 98% of the other african / african-american and carribean candidates had the gene that was identified in the piece as being responsible for being a great sprinter. He then pointed out that 80% of the other white european candidates had it as well.

I am smoking a large cone and listening to Lee Scratch Perry. TwentyLion style.

Nuff respect to the JA track team, they're awesome.

I missed that. What did he say?

Basically there was a long and somewhat suspicious piece on genetics and sprinting set to yet more music from Transformers, which appeared to conclude that a specific gene was responsible for sprinting prowess and that black (specifically west african / african american / carribean) athletes had a greater chance of having that gene, (edit) hence all the medals. Jackson answered it by pointing out that when he got tested 98% of west african / african american and carribean origin candidates had the gene, but so did 80% of white european origin candidates.

Michael Johnson then finished the dead horse off, despite Inverdales valiant attempts to get a column on the Daily Mail.
