Just watched these through with a new flatmate who'd never heard of it. He could not believe a) he'd never heard of it and b) it was cancelled. Absolutely mind-boggling, the show is absolute genius. I hope airing only on Netflix doesn't mean they circumvrent the main viewing public though!

The trailer looks brilliant. I was worried that the passage of time would make them lose the magic ("Illusions, Michael"), but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I am really enjoying the new series, my only complaint is not enough lucille one.

Wasn't sure what the fuck was going on for the first couple of episodes, but it all starts to fit together after a while. Needs more Maeby though.

Also, Portia de Rossi has had so much work done I couldn't work out if they'd cast a new actor to play Lindsay or not

The first two that I've seen have concentrated on a character.

I'm not sure about how good it is. I was in a foul mood and feeling poorly when I watched them. Going to watch more when this head cold goes away.

I watched both versions of S4, and the recut was better I think, although you lost some of the pay-off.

Watched S5 (so far - I believe it's chopped in half, so 8 more eps coming later). It was fine, still not as good as the first 2 seasons. Some parts fell flat. The best thing about it as ever was Maeby, who was exceptional.

Have almost finished season 4 recut (couldn't watch the original one, didn't enjoy the format). Look forward to season 5, am hoping it will be a nu start #anustart
