Toren Smith, the current Labour councillor for Tulse Hill, thinks that all is well in Lambeth. During the setting of the budget this year, his speech noted that:

"The empty public gallery is evidence that the people of Lambeth think Labour is doing a great job."

I tend to think that the ballot box is a better indicator.
