Alternative 80s weekender, Butlins Minehead

1927

Funnier than he thinks he is.
Anyone going to this next weekend?
Big Country
Boomtown Rats
From The Jam
Undertones
Sham 69

With the exception of Big Country, (1981) all of the other acts you've named formed in the early to mid 1970s.
But all of them, with exception of Sham, 69 were around in 80s, so not exclusively 70s bands.

It appears that it doesn't include the word 80s in the title anymore anyway, so the debate is irrelevant!

Hope you have a good time
Went to the Shiine weekend before xmas and that was very good, next weekend we've paid £85 for the weekend including accommodation, but you can get it for about £60 if you book now, cant fault that really for 3 nights and music.

Twas a great weekend. Blockheads were outstanding. Forgot how many good songs Big Country released. Some great new bands on the introducing stage. Boomtown Rays were poor imho, and Secret Affair should give up!
