Hi all, just seeking advice as to what course of action to take regarding
Nazis postering and making their presence felt in the town I live in.
There's a small anti-fash group, numbering about a dozen, myself
included, a small socialist group based around the university who no one
likes very much, and that's about it. The Nazi group is small in number
but we have a bit of info on one of them and he is a very dangerous
individual who is not long out of the nick for an act of extreme violence.
Advice on how to proceed would be much appreciated. DM me if you prefer.
They have a public telegram account that I have been keeping an eye on.

Some things to consider :

I'd start with a discussion with people who you can rely on and trust politically about what you want to achieve tbh. That needs to be tempered with realism and an accurate assessment of what strengths your group and potentially other allies ie the students have. Identify things/asetts you need and where you might locate them. Identify what would be success , in steps so group can show progress.

The achievement stuff could be anything quick and practical which gives the sense of early wins ie getting these posters and stickers removed quickly by public bodies like the Council and University, could be teams from you and allies removing them quickly or organised days of 'action' removing them with plenty of publicity and trying to draw in more numbers and identify more supporters. If you are doing campaign stuff then risk assess potential of violence and make sure you have numbers, spotters, good communication and plenty of phone cameras.

Identify comms strategy and comms team.

Worth considering an intelligence cell rather than everyone doing everything which can feed into some decision making about what to do with the intelligence. ie diary and location maps of when where posters and stickers have been put up/perhaps some social media page where locations of postering stickering can be reported?

Intelligence with photography, identification of gang members and where they work or study or drink/socialise. Flesh out info/ Build a bigger picture.

2 things here - 1) students come and students go, and there is no guarantee that future students will be as exercised about this as the current crop; 2) get pictures of stickers, posters before they come down (and be careful taking them down, always better to use an implement like keys than your fingers). also see my pms which i hope are useful

This isn't for the OP as he has intell already . just to give a quick summary of whats out there.

This small group seems to be part of the National Socialist Network based around Thomas Sewell, ex military now full blown nazi, on bail and subject of counter terrorism investigation following a robbery. I suspect the security forces are all over this lot tbh . Sewell was on a Patriotic Alternative channel affiliated live stream calling for the rape of Police Officers which PA promptly deleted in case action was taken against them. Sewells main claim to fame was that he’d attempted to recruit the Christchurch Massacre shooter into his organization.

For those without Telegram , the local Illawarra channel has 12 subscribers , three main young activists who seem to sticker at night around the University campus. its been picked up by local and student press. Its all headbanging Nazi stuff , lots of antifa we are coming to get you , leaderless resistance /accelerationist tosh.

If he’s just out of nick for “extreme violence” he’ll be on licence. Organise for him to break the terms of his license when there are coppers around…

There's no evidence to say that Australia is an exception to the general picture, so no not a great amount of potential for growth but a potential for violence. . Evidence, as elsewhere that Proud Boy type , and other groups can provide a recruiting funnel into this sort of genre. However heavily monitored and no doubt compromised.
