YouTube music videos where the artist leaves a comment

In the best music news all year, italo-disco/synth-pop duo Sally Shapiro have got back together after calling it a day 5 years ago. They're now on Italians Do It Better (which makes perfect sense), have released a single and are working on an album.

IDIB have been busy replying to the comments under the video, and then Johan Agebjörn (the half of the duo who isn't Sally, although I don't think she's really called Sally) pops up to comment too.

During the demo stage of their 2nd album Best Wishes, after John Joseph left, I got a call from Harley to come and take his place as the bass player because he was gonna only do vocals.
I met him at Tompkins Square Park and he gave me the rough demo.
By the time we rehearsed together Mackie was gone and Petey Hines was drumming. What I remember was playing all of this album and the Best Wishes stuff. We sounded great, which was a shock because during rehearsals Harley was drunk and couldn't remember many of the words and Doug Holland was on the verge of nodding out. He had to handcuff his Led Paul to his wrist for the train ride home to Brooklyn so nobody stole it.
Bottom line was I just didn't fit in. They were skinheads with tattoos, I had no tats and hair down to my ass. The Manager Chris Williamson convinced Harley to sing & play bass so he had one less guy to pay.
I was out.
Its too bad, they were all cool guys. It gave me an appreciation for Hardcore I hadn't had before.

Onirico has left a "thanks" on every comment on their tune from 1991 :)

ooh my kind of tune - 1991 was such a golden moment - Onirico eh, will have to have a dig

this seems to be the other EP from that era

Just posted this on the Chicago House thread but it should go on here too - two House titans go at it over who produced the first acid house record:

As songwriter and producer for Mark Wahlberg on this song, his second single, and two albums, I had a wonderful experience putting this project together. Donnie Wahlberg and I had formed a partnership as producers and we pulled off the ultimate production when Mark's first single "Good Vibrations" went platinum. The very next single "Wildside" sold over 800,000 copies, and the album went double platinum. This is not usually what happens with a brand new artist, but Mark had what it took to take it to the next level. He had the looks, the charm, and the stage presence. 30 years after the release of #goodvibrations we put out a brand new version to commemorate the first one. My youtube page has that version's video posted on it. Again, thank you for sharing and thanks for the love over the years. We are all appreciative of your support through the years!

Heard this tune on the radio just now

Amazing chords and arrangement on this
...sounded very familiar though, its a unique, distinctive progression...scratched head then go it as being very reminiscent of this

and sure enough had this comment below it
