The road off the roundabout into Argyle Court has a place in my heart - it means I am on a training day and can daydream all day and have a free buffet lunch.

I'm in the Burgh Coffee House awaiting news of my car from the garage. Might be the last coffee out I can afford if the news is bad.

I've never been so only have the implied claim in the name to say that Broad Street really is wider than the rest - can you provide figures to back up this bold assertion danny? Well, can you?!?
There's Broad pavement in chesterfield that's only about 8' wide.

I lived in Callander for 7 years in the late 70s/early 80s. Friars Street had the Grapevine record shop near the junction with Murray Place, plus a sports shop (Alexanders?) at the top. So easily the best street in Stirling. At least until 1983.

I always stop at the butchers in Callander for my haggis on the way up north. They're top drawer.
