Not really a colour I'd go for so wanted to see one to make sure it wasn't too gold/'bling'.
As mentioned, it was hard to find anywhere stocking it. Tried 5 places before finding one when I was in Newcastle over my birthday.

I would have to remortgage my place many times over to be able to buy that. It would be ok with a different strap and proves money does not buy taste.

A good sensible watch that. At a sensible price. But does it say BIDEN? So is it like the anti-Trump watch? Obviously Trump's watch is tacky AF. And costs way more than £16. Obviously.

I'm thinking to combine an analogue watch with a watch strap that can do contactless payments.
It's possible through some of the partners that work with Curve cards. Obviously Swatch have Swatchpay but that limits you to the range that Swatch do.
Curve have a number of partners though who do watch straps. Here's one of them. AdornPay. Based in the Netherlands. I'm tempted with the 20% off. But the shipping from there to the UK pushes it back up to £48 which irks me.

I had no idea this had happened. I went to the old museum at the guildhall years ago but didn't know it had been swallowed up by the science museum. It's sad another little museum is lost but at least the collection has been saved.

My question was whether they are always likely to be fake. I wondered if some brands sell in China at cheaper prices and they end up on aliexpress.

It's possible it's legit but I wouldn't bet more than a quid on it.
It's AliExpress, so it's most likely a bad copy of a bad copy.
