However. Let me put it to you that Bob Mortimer on Would I Lie To You is a thing to behold. It’s an art form in itself. They should do a compilation show of Bob’s appearances.

I’ve just watched him claim that Chris Rea ran a bath for him and cracked an egg into it after a recording session in what must have been Eel Pie Studios. I was laughing so much I could hardly breathe.

I'd seen the Chris Rea egg story recently, and I think the apple, but none of the rest. Amazing stuff.

I found the compilation by accident yesterday, Mortimer is just hilarious in a way that I never noticed in his other shows. WILTY could have been made for him!
