Wot no Xmas 2020 TV & radio recommendations thread?

I haven’t looked at schedules in any depth but I’ve heard from about three people now that this year’s telly is looking rather shit. This is the one year when we could have done with a decent entertainment, so any recommendations welcome

Well that might be so, but I am sure I am not the only one who doesn’t check the Crimbo forum much (or at all), especially when it comes to TV and radio programmes, which one would always think of coming here to discuss. If you want to talk about Dr Who this is the place for it even if not the Xmas forum. IMO anyway

But happy to let the thread die, having at least raised awareness of the other one for peeps who don’t look at the Crimbo forum.

The BBC family comedy series Ghosts, by the Horrible Histories lot, had grown to be half decent in S2, but the Christmas special episode today was pretty ordinary and not even longer than a normal one.
