Well done mate:)

sorry to be doom and gloom but im a single mum working part time and i get no free school dinners or much discount on council tax- i pay 50 a month still:eek:.....hope its different in your council.....sorry:oops:

Betty- I am in that same situation right now and have been ever since masterdarkone was little and I went back to work, so I know exactly how you feel....the system is crazy and the only reason I dont get the free dinners, bus and uniform is cos I am in receipt of Working Tax Credit, but as a student will no longer get this...this is the only difference...but what a difference! I have argued it for years...:(

You'll still have to pay water and sewerage I think. We do anyway on IS, but it's only £25 a month or thereabouts. Yours will be different obviously but it shouldn't be too bad.

My ctax is £90 per month and that is with the single occupier discount!

Snap. Crap innit?

But this is not the thread to moan about crappy council tax, no. This is the thread where we go woohoo kali is going to be a midwife and the women of bristol will rejoice in their good fortune

Congratulations :D:D
