Crotia vs turkey and russia vs netherlands are the two i can't really pck a winner for so im picking them.

I voted for Croatia v Turkey.

The others look good but I fear some of these teams will 'go defensive' now the stakes are so high.

I just have a feeling that Croatia and Turkey will give it a good go.

Hope I'm wrong about the other games - we'll soon find out.

Italy play "anti-football"....boring as hell that's what they can get away with so many old players

That Italy has just one fewer World Cup than Brazil is a travesty to the game IMO.

In fact, if they win Euro2008 we might as well abandon football as a sport.

Because on at least two of them they were far from the best team in the tournament, and because their style of play is indescribably boring and against what the beautiful game should be all about.

Spain-Italy match looks best on paper but probably will be quite boring. Dutch and Russian game will be the best, both forward minded teams playing great football at the moment. Still fancy the Dutch to take it.

Agree that it looks like a v-exciting line up for the quarter final.

Holland vs Russia is the obvious one on the attacking flair football front.
But Croatia vs Turkey promises skill plus all sorts of aggro and drama.

My predicitons -

Portugal to beat germany. 2-1

Holland to beat Russia after extra time. Plenty of goals. 3- 2

Croatia vs Turkey - Coatia to go through after extra time and penalties following a humdinger of match with two or more red cards. 3-3

Italy to beat spain on penalties. 2-2.

TBH - with all four matches its hard to confidently pick a winner.
