ilya kuryakin or napoleon solo? :mad:

When U.N.C.L.E. first came out everyone wanted to be Ilya Kuyiakin. Forget James Bond and all that other shit, we all used to go around the playground wearing cardboard triangles with a number '2' on it.

The problem with Kuryakin were the very things that made him seem a bit cool and exotic: he was Russian, and he was European.

This was at a time when the first was really suspect, and the second, pretty suspect too.

So you never knew, was Kuryakin cool, or just effecting strange European mannerisms etc?

So the answer: Solo. Mr. Waverley had too big of eyebrows, plus I think he was british if I remember correctly, bringing up the whole European thing again.

That's because you're European. No little NA kid would run around with Number Two pinned to his chest.

Watch THE MAN FROM UNCLE again and be disturbed at the number of times Robert Vaughan looks up in each episode. He does it constantly.

Oh and in answer to the OP, Solo of course, durrr.

Thats the 007 attache case?:confused::facepalm:

I must admit David McCallum's hands have shrunk since that photo was taken, they're not nearly as big on NCIS.

I get a bit freaked watching NCIS and seeing David McCallum now, I expect him to look like he did in his UNCLE days.

I do like watching Robert Vaughn in "Hustle" though :cool:
