Where haven't you been within the UK and Northern Ireland?

Stanley Edwards

1967 Maserati Mistral.
R.I.P.
I honestly thought I had covered pretty much everywhere until someone mentioned Skegness. Bit of a howling cultural hole.

Where in the UK (or, your home country) haven't you visited?

Where haven't I been?

much of Scotland and significant chunks of Wales, never been to N Ireland.

think Cornwall's probably the only English county I've never been in at all, although I've only touched the fringes of Norfolk, and don't think I've done more than travel through Tyne & Wear / Northumbria (if we're talking post 1974 counties) and Newcastle (upon Tyne that is) is probably the biggest city I've never been to. (I used to live in Newcastle, Staffs though)

don't think I've been in to Herefordshire either if we're talking pre 1974 counties.

If you think Skegness is a hole, try Mablethorpe or Cleethorpes... (I have probably been to more obscure places in Lincolnshire than most people have)

Never been to Liverpool. Beat that!

That is a pretty good omission. All of the foreigners visit London, then Beatles town. Manchester is prominent for football. Birmingham is forgotten, but Liverpool is the cultural home of pop. You should take a ferry at least.

I think Skegness is somewhere I should have visited. 'A hole in my knowledge' rather than a hole like Crawley.

I've only been to wales once (llandudno)
I've never been to glasgow.
I've never been to birmingham
i've never been to croydon, even though I have lived in London for 6 years.

I think I've been to most other large places though. And I don't feel like i've missed out on much!

Loads of places. I've been pretty much all over Scotland, but never been to any of Ireland, only bit of Wales I've been to is Bethesda in Gwynedd, only bits of England I've been to are London, Manchester, Shrewsbury, the Lakes, Newcastle, Forest of Dean. Think that's it.

Ipswich. Probably most of Kent and the Essex coast. Legoland (though I think I went to the Safari park when it was that). Wagamamas.

Wick, Thurso, Ullapool.

Derry.

I've been to most places thanks to parents who always took us on holiday in the UK and work travel, but I've never been to North Wales or Northern Ireland.

Only travelled through some counties, like Kent.

Don't think I've been to the Scottish Islands though, but might have done as a wee bairn.

I never lived further north than north London, I went further north than Luton Airport less than 10 times, most of which were to go raving.

It's mainly just the islands for me I think. All of the Scottish islands, Scilly, Man, and the Channel Islands (got a weekend booked in Jersey mid-August though).

Anyone going to NI go to the north coast, the sand there is amazing!! And I don't like sand :D

I've not done much of the NW of England, no idea why. Never been to Blackpool or Liverpool.
Not done much of the NW of Scotland either tbh(have been to Applecross and that's it) but that's because I don't like jaggy mountains plus there's midges and it's a fecking long drive for somewhere I have no desire to go/just to tick it off. Love north of Inverness though :) Oh, never been to the Isles either(Shetland/Orkney/Western), again midges and I really don't like boats.

Re Blackpool - you're not missing much.

And jaggy mountains are lovely! Midges are evil little shits though - I remember getting bitten repeatedly on my dick when I was younger. How the hell do they bite through a few layers of clothing? My god that was itchy!
