What's your work status now? Back at work? Furloughed? Working from home? Or bugger all?

Are you back at work?

Thought it might be timely to see how people are getting on.
As for me, I've got zero work, no furlough and just about zero prospect this year of getting back to my regular work (DJs, gigging, recording, writing).

if I've missed out an obvious category, tell me what it is and I'll add it!

I've made it so people can change their votes as their circumstances change.

obviously missing categories are freelance with and freelance without access to the self employment income support scheme

Varying proportions of wfh and office/workshop (time sharing the workshop, so not overcrowded) plus a lot of more personal work on my "timesheet".
Having to be very flexible with planning my time.
Plenty of overtime at home required as I'll be trying to get my team more projects in an environment that was already difficult and CV19 has made much more challenging.

Updated. People can change votes a choose a couple to suit their situation (as I have now done - edit - it won't let me)

still no option for freelance with access to the SEISS, that covers me, thought it covered you too?

I've run out of poll options unless you can suggest an edit that will make sense

I got one shitty payment months ago

I was on furlough but am now redundant as of the 1st August and I was only there just over a year. Finding a job per se isn't the biggest issue, it's finding a job that doesn't put me in burnout within 2 weeks. I've got to apply for UC now and hope that I find something appropriate otherwise I've got 3 on 4 off, 11 hour days in a "you're just a number for an agency" warehouse work to do.

should get should get a second and final one in about 2 weeks, but yeah, all signs seem to suggest its going to be a bit of a bloodbath for a lot of people when the various furlough schemes end.

Self-employed income basically hit zero for Mar-May, so the 80% government grant was fucking handy.

For Jun-Aug I am on about 30% of normal income, so will be getting the 70% government grant, topping it up to 100%.

I feel bloody lucky so far, I know a lot of people have been hit hard, but I am also concerned about income going forward from Sept., as support for the SE ends in August.

Taken out one of those bounce-back loans, which are interest free for a year & nothing to repay in the first year, thereafter 2.5% & repayment over up to 5 years, so that will keep me going until I hope things get back to normal income levels.

I was bloody glad the SE got the 80%, the same as those on furlough, I wouldn't describe that as shitty TBH.

I normally work from home doing stuff around events involving people from China. I basically gave myself 18 months holiday commencing in February. I'm not taking anything from the government.

Full time at home for the foreseeable. I work from home half the time anyway so not so different. I quite fancied being furloughed, but kind of glad I wasn't - it's going pear-shaped for a few that I know who were furloughed (and were rather happy about it at first).

I work 25 hours a week. At first from home and then when the technology stopped working I had to go back to the office.

I am aware that I am better off than most.

Was working from home now summer holiday.

Still employed and waiting to hear about what the college expects to happen mid August onwards.

I've had to make sure I don't do too much work these last few months. I don't get paid any more, but it's been quite easy to get into a job and just finish it, what with nothing else to do a lot of the time. Boss let slip that he was rather happy with productivity since March. :hmm:

Was working from home most of april may and june but been back at work and commuting for about 5 weeks or so now. Home work was good while it lasted.
