Hmmm...

Well, as for rip roaring times, that would have to be Rumania and/or Kenya. As for just overall enjoyment [people/culture], that would have to be Thailand.

So far, Malta. Being a fan of classic cars, I was in my element because every other car was either a Beetle, and Anglia or a Morris Minor . Beer was cheap as was the food.

The fortified town of Mdina was fascinating and beautiful ditto the blue grotto. There's not much there in the way of beaches if that's your kind of thing, but there's plenty of other stuff to do.
