Something nobody wants to know about in Germany anymore, but in the 70s you could find pedophile porn in regular Newsagents, disgused as some sort of "naturist" magazine, though from the naked children on the cover it was blatand what it was even to me as a kid. Pedophiles also quite openly would place ads in lefty papers like Das Blatt. So when Kinski actually bragged about it it would have been in a climate of sexual "tolerance and liberation" where nobody batted an eye.
