That's sent me down a real rabbit warren ... starting with Aardman, Morph, Tony Hart and finally PG's Sledgehammer video ...Caught up on this today and it was, as they always are, absolutely fabulous. Witty, clever and a bit silly. Perfect TV.
Same, we watched it today and it was absolutely brilliant My eldest is 16 now but still loves W&G and was genuinely excited for this; we don't get to spend so much time with the kids as they're getting older, so it was a real gift to have something we all wanted to watch, and it didn't disappoint. Loved all the film references, Feathers ofc, the Yorks/Lancs border, everything.Caught up on this today and it was, as they always are, absolutely fabulous. Witty, clever and a bit silly. Perfect TV.
Yes I want sure of that. The first "Mission Impossible" film has a scene in the channel tunnel but I'm not familiar enough with the film to know if the lighting goes on and offtrying to work out what the reference was when they were going through the tunnel with the lighting going off and on, was it Speed?
I found it disappointing compared to previous outings.
Feathers McGrawI liked the fact a minor character seen briefly shares my name
he'd already being doing the role for years while Sallis was still alive. for minor stuff like video games, the Proms once, some TV ads.He does a good Wallace impersonation and had plenty of time to practice whilst the animation was filmed.
Robert de Niro in Cape FearI really enjoyed this but it's mined boglliñg how much work must have gone into it. I did notice some hints from other works like when the penguin is in the zoo and he's doing pull-ups. And and all the robots turning bad reminded me of I robot which was a film I loved. Sure there were many more.
