Two beavers are moving to Ealing

I'll sing of the beavers of old London town
Those industrious rodents of fame and renown
In Ealing there's five but in Enfield still more
And the people did marvel with wonder and awe

Now their lodge it grew larger by day and by night
Till a brave English captain swore he'd put them to flight
He invaded their chamber with two volunteers raw
And the three of them never were seen any more

Some say that their bones lie afloat in the Lea
Since those ravenous beasts did consume them with glee
But a beaver eats nothing but vegetables plain
And I cannot be arsed to pursue this refrain
