Then again, it would be pretty funny if acupuncture fans were all: "Well, I believe firmly in it - it's great. Though it's never done anything for me or anyone I know".

Despite my overwhelming cynicism, my NHS acupuncture did a bloody amazing job of fixing my painful RSI. It was so bad I'd already invested in those awful speech-to-text programs and was in some pain and then - wham! - two sessions and it was gone. It doesn't work for everyone, but it was brilliant for me, and I was anything but a believer.
