The Universe.

Well-Known Member
All we are is microscopic pockets of consciousness, that is part of the universe trying to understand it's self. We have no access to the higher consciousness of the universe, just as much as the cells in our bodies are not aware of the whole system within us. Just as it is with us, we are all microscopic self aware conscious people that is part of the greater whole. We are the universe, we are the tiny cells of consciousness that make up the greater whole. Which is the ultimate self aware conscious being that is the universe. Far outweighing what us as individuals can call self or even grasp an understanding of. We are all interconnected, the illusion is that we are not and as such separate from the universe. This is a delusion and a mistake. We are the universe and as such come from the higher intelligence that is the universe as a whole.

No wish I was. Just a little manic that's all. I didn't take my meds today cos I forgot.

Sounds like lunatic ranting to me. It's pretty obvious that person is more distinct from the world than say a rock, in being a consciousness. The universe itself is lawlike and mechanical, we have no reason to think its conscious. ChrisC must have some special knowledge, possibly chemically induced...

Unfortunately the universe is not as lawlike and as predictable as we would like to think. In fact it is completely chaotic, on a smaller a level.

Nevertheless the OP would like to read Hegel to feel as if what he is thinking has been thought before.

Also: lunatic ranting regarding the universe is not a thing of ridicule, IME. It's actually a pretty huge thing to think about and has a huge effect on many people. Humans are in a position of absurdity. We all have to live with things we don't understand, things we can never understand, and things much bigger than us. It's just a case with coming to terms it, things we can't possibly understand, and getting on with normal life (though I'm not expert, I'm afraid.)

What's Hegal? A philosopher?

Can't I even rant on a little without being called a lunatic or being chemically induced which I was not? Sheesh these boards are so far up there own arse.

Plenty of places out there with pictures of unicorns and fairies where you'll find an audience for your hippy musings.
