"the unavailability of our Stadium Operator" (Harrow Senior Cup match postponed)

Bastards like Meadow often gamble on the "little people" not knowing their rights and just giving in. That's not going to happen with us. We need to be vigilant and not just assume they are legally entitled to do everything they tell us .
Bastards!

Be vigilant.

It doesn't matter what's correct about the licence or not. They own the ground and can do whatever they want. We, as a football club, are merely tenants on a matchday.

Indeed, but they claim they didn't know about the game. The game has been re-scheduled, time to Move on. There are, frankly, more important things to worry about... It's now on Tuesday 20th February.

The other tie has been played, so the winners of this tie will be at home to Balham in the semi-final. The other semi will be Metropolitan Police or t*****g & mitcham united (currently scheduled for 13th February) against Cray Valley(Paper Mills). The final will be at Silver Jubille Park, home of Hendon & Edgware Town.

Speaking to mate tonight about the drinking licence, he said you can nominate up to 6 other people on the same licence so it's not always down to one person to always be on site.

This is not about the license, the license was in Matt Rimmers name (of Hadley) up until a few months ago. It's about Chris being the only person able to Cash up, brief security, physically open and shut the building.

Hence why it's even more ridiculous that he's the only one that can do it!

So if we're hosting the play-off final and Chris is hospitalised that morning the game is off? I can't believe Meadows run the rest of their operations as amateurishly as this.

I suspect it serves them to run it like this. It makes no real difference to them and keeps us reminded that we are basically there but for the grace of them.......the cunts.

I don't know what their other operations are, but people having mentioned some of the developments that they haven't received planning permission for, so maybe they are just as amateurish in their other stuff...

...but surely Meadows must have some level of obligation to the club to make sure their end of the agreement is upheld and matches can go ahead? If the club are tenants, then presumably there is a tenancy agreement, and Meadows would be in violation of that if a game can't go ahead due to their required personnel not being on site?

You'd think so wouldn't you, somehow I doubt if we will ever find out whilst the current situation prevails.

If they behave with the same arrogance and spitefulness towards everyone they do business with I would imagine there are quite a lot of people who would be only too pleased to vote against one of their planning applications.

I think we can all agree that the best thing to come out of this postponement is that I will be available to yell at the referee tonight, whereas with the original date the appointed ref was someone I know IRL so that would have been problematic.
