The UK Office

Give us an example of the kinda laughs you had.... shoot👉

Someone had got their knob out at the Xmas party and it hadn’t impacted on their job
People’s family popping in all the time
“Amusing” things on the wall eg golf cartoons
We had a warehouse exactly like the one in the office

Extras was pretty good, but not in the Office's league imo. Haven't seen Early Doors.

This is the thing about the office; I don't know if it was intentionally genius and beyond it's time, or if it they just got extremely lucky(series 1 bombed initially) in that it resonated with so many people... I mean, it literally and truly is funny from start to finish, and it's hard to imagine that Gervais and Merchant foresaw that.

Andy and Darrens time zone argument? Ma Lieberman? President of Djibouti? Golly wo... er I mean golly toy? etc etc. Extras was a million times better... without even mentioning the self deprecating cameos from some pretty big names

If office was genius, then it was the catalyst for Extras

The garth merenghi computer repair scene is so so so pitch perfect.

The era of that and Partridge was like the Messi and Ronaldo.

Coogan managed to keep the flow going with Partridge e.g. this time with Alan Partridge(coogans best imo) most recently.

When Gervais went solo the standard dropped very much so.
