The Mighty Boosh

urgh. that *really* fucks me off. "i'm soo loving that random shit, it's like, sooo random, yeah?" <---their last words before an axe splits their head in two

loved radio show, series 1 and 2. haven't seen 3 but if dodgepot says it isn't very good it must be brilliant.

my 13 year old niece is obsessed with all 3 series so it's not all hoxtonists that are into it. and i have to watch it now and again to aid with interaction with aforementioned niece. (watched half of series 2 last w/end and found it still brill). but yes, i too am concerned that there may be a jump/shark type interaction presently unfolding at this present moment in time.

i have to admit though, that i haven't watched any of it for quite some time, not cos i don't like the programme any more, but just cos of the overexposure. i can't help associating it with uber-trendy camden and hoxtonites. and pixie geldof. which kinda puts me off. IYGWIM.M.

I reckon Max Gogarty loves the Mighty Boosh.

Anything I've seen past series 2 I haven't liked, but seriously, just get the boxset of series 1&2, you might not like it at first but it's definitely a grower!

I'm old Greg.

I borrowed the whole lot off my mate and watched them all within about a week. Loved it. I know surreal humour isn't everyone's thing but Naboo cracks me up. And of course I'd like Vince Noir as my bedfellow please.

I finally got round to seeing this on BBC Three after hearing about it for ages.

All I can say is

Am I missing the joke here? What a load of old unfunny shite. I didn't laugh once. In fact the end of the episdoe where they had a crimp off was like something off Cbeebies.

Are there any fans?

i was made watch it too, andi think i understand the intent of the jokes, and the meaning and all, but i totally dont get it either and my friends said beforehand that they thought i wouldnt. I am Irish though and our humour is different :confused:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it... its absolute ridiculousness and sheer randomness wins my heart. But it is a love it or hate it thing. I want Vince to be my husband (if Kyser dropped off the earth or summink....) :)

"Do I look like a reasonable man, or a peppermint nightmare?" Gold.
LOL.

Naboo makes me laugh too. He wasn't in the stage show enough imo.
I now have a purple Howard Moon tee

The last episode on series three is actually one of my favourites...

the party one

with 'bouncy bouncy'

and the extreme sports calendar model :D

but really, I love all of it. a lot!

it's one of the very few things I can watch again and again and again

e2a: it's like threadhog day on urban today  - first gmail now mighty boosh...

Got to out myself  I'm some-one else who doesn't get the Boosh, believe me I really wanted to

I've never watched it, but have heard it described as self-consciously wacky student shite. Is this accurate?

I went to see them live at the 02 last night, bit gutted really there didn't seem to be so much effort put in. Felt a bit flat compared to the last show and TV series etc.
