I finally got round to seeing this on BBC Three after hearing about it for ages.

All I can say is

Am I missing the joke here? What a load of old unfunny shite. I didn't laugh once. In fact the end of the episdoe where they had a crimp off was like something off Cbeebies.

Are there any fans?

I had to watch more than one before I got into it. And the latest series (which it sounds like you saw one of) was a bit self-referential and shite.

Thought it was unfunny at first but quite like it, very surreal and full of subtilties, like everything being in Euros.

yeah i love it, although the third series was distinctly lacking compared to the first two.

First series is fucking ace.
2nd series is ace.
3rd series is alright.

it's all about the zoo though really. you should've started from the beginning.

i have to admit though, that i haven't watched any of it for quite some time, not cos i don't like the programme any more, but just cos of the overexposure. i can't help associating it with uber-trendy camden and hoxtonites. and pixie geldof. which kinda puts me off. IYGWIM.M.

It's awesome with or without k!!! :p

Series 3 is great too, especially the 'Crimp' and the 'Bouncy Bouncy' (the one with the party) episodes. Oh, and the one they go into Vince's head :D And the 'Eels' episode... And the one with the crack fox!

Watch it again people, then you'll see the light!!! (or not, I guess it's not for everyone)

Anyway, all the Hoxton associations => they're taking the piss out of it.

When I first saw the MB I remember thinking that was also missing the joke and that maybe I would have enjoyed in a lot more in my skunk blazing era but gave it another chance and I have to say it is some funny shit. It is weird and I think the (us) Brits do weird comedy very well. Give it another go I say!

You're not supposed to think about it too much.... each episode is like a story that the teacher would read at "story time" back in primary school.
:D

I dont like it, which is disappointing as I thought it'd be right up my street. The breezeblock is fucking hilarious though.

My mate went to the festival they did last weekend and said it was amazing, like modern day pink floyd :hmm:

Saw 1st series only. Ace. Especially the one with the scary pink wibble-monster.

Or was that the 2nd series. Can't have been. Haven't seen it.

:hmm:

it's good

Its okay. I can watch it happily once in a while.

Its typical british comedy though innit. Well written, no production values, shit acting.
