The Islamic state

Not sure that saying that one person is acting in such a horrible manner that they should equally be treated in that same manner is tremendously sensible.

Bit old testament - in fact, you can make an argument that a lot of IS' executions try to adhere to similar values...

Who's saying they should be treated in the same way? There are a few groups like Ahrar al Sham that have made ISIS like videos of ISIS members being killed and tbh i think thats a very very bad sign, do we really want them regarded as 'the good guys'

Tbh id rather al baghdadi was taken round the back and shot without anyone knowing, no need to make a big spectacle of it.

I mean the best thing would be for him to have a war crimes trial but he would use it as a platform to bang on about jihad, and if he died during the course of the trial then people in isis would use that to show he was a martyr. And if he was locked up in the hague or something then he would probably still be able to go on the internet and post and watch isis videos all day :(

he could stay with Diamond.

Anyways...in reference to that murdered scholar . I fear there could be worse ahead . The Syrian army is within spitting distance of palmyra . Just weeks ago daesh took over 200 Christians captive from Qaryatain. My fear is they were sending a message with that murder that there'll be much worse in store if the army goes at them . As well as destruction of the antiquities .

They are lousy bastards and the only answer to them is merciless and relentless eradication .

Speaking of bad taste, given some of the news covered in this thread recently, I've head my head melted whilst tonight innocently exploring Siouxsie and The Banshees music that I'd never heard before (most of it). The lyrics to Arabian Knights, well I don't recall hearing a song before that sung of orifices in the context of boys, goats and things.

Long and interesting article on West London Jihadis, the intersection between religion and gang culture, recruitment to IS, and many other related topics...

Read that one last week . Definitely interesting .

Anyways just to lift the gloom a bit I thought this was a lovely tweet from one of those Sikh Khalsa aid dudes who's over there helping out . A little yazidi girl got upset that she got left out when they were handing out toys

I know. Its hard not to want to see them all cruelly executed. as reactionary as it may sound

It would better behoove British subjects to direct their anger against their own government, which has over the past decade destroyed the entire Muslim world thus creating the environment in which the likes of IS inevitably thrive.
