The insanely late winter 2013 Anime Season

Yeah I know it's practically the end of the winter season but late is better than never right?

As usual i've not watched everything but here's my thoughts

Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shurabasugiru (My girlfriend and childhood friend keep fighting)
This one i thought would be a straightforward love comedy but actually it's a bit more complex than that. this one has large shades of last seasons Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shita where the lead male used to be a dreamer and fantasist and it's this information which hold him in the lead females sway. It also makes a ton of jojo refrences.
It's worth watchin the first few episodes if you don't mind comedy drama stuff

Watch the first few episodes. great art and good premise. It has a wierd and twisted story based around japanese mythology. i can't say anymore or it would spoil it

Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo (It's like problem children are from another world)
A group of powerfull kids are transported to a new world where they battle foes to restore the good name of a guild who have fallen on hard times

So it's a fighting show.... but man this one isn't bad. It's only 10 episodes long so it feels kinda short but it really work as an introduction to the world. check it out as a good introduction to fighting shows but without the filler.

Boku Ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai NEXT (I don't have many friends NEXT)
This is a season two and frankly it's more of the same..... which i like.
It is becoming more and more harem-esque but it manages to keep up the comedy and introduce some new characters
it does reveal something about one character which i don't like but that doesn't ruin the show or anything

It's mahou shoujo time. this time science magic girls but magic girls none the less

so basically girls use the power of freindship and SCIENCE!!! to destroy monsters

seriously what more could you want

This is season 5 or so...

it's good, but don't start with this one. i mean you won't even know about the difference between makoto-kun and mako-chan or the curry fairy

Chihiyafura season 2
I so want to watch this one but i've still not got round to it.
Go search out the first season. this one is about a girl who becomes an obsesive player of a classic Japanese card game. it's more epic than you think

A club where people hang around and do nothing.
it's a slice of lidfe comedy. it's not bad but it's not great either. i'd say i like it and it's worth watching but don't expect to remember it this time next year

Cuticle Detective Inaba
So right there is this hairdresser detective who is part wolf and uses hair to solve mysteries and fight the lead bad guy who is a goat.
His assistants are the straight man and a tranny shrine priestess
this is an odd one.

it's fun but unfortunately i've not got into it enough to really tell for sure

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
The hero meets the demon lord in one on one battle to end the war.

The demon lord is a pretty girl who explains the reasons for the war are to do with the socio-economic climate of the human world and the only way to end the war is to change the world

AWESOME

This has epic monster vs human battles AND establishing the four field system to bolster food production.

The closest relative to this is probably spice and wolf. It mixes generic fantasy setting with a real medieval society and try to do interesting things

Kotoura
Ok i don't want to spoil this because the first episodes does something i only reaslly see in anime but i can give you a ,littlebit of info
Kotoura is psychic and can read minds. but bofore she realised this was a dangerous thing she managed to fuck up her life by getting her freind to hate her and eventually causing her parents to break up and dump her. she really gets shat on. this is her story.

thisshow has a good start but weakens over time. i've just got to a bit which mixes things up again so it may get better but so far i'd say watch the first episode as it's does some intresting things but maybe don'#t bthjer with the whole series

Boku no Imouto wa Osaka Okan (My little sister is an osakan mum[has an osakan dialect])
Just a short that has tones of jokes about osakaben

I mainly watch it because i think girls with osakan dialects are cute....
