The housing crisis (London and beyond)

Tip of the iceberg I’ve no doubt.

“November 2023, Environmental Health Officers inspected the house and found five rooms occupied by at least four unrelated families. Two of the families had small children… There was also a severe mice infestation in the house, officers found“

at least the slums of the old east end were cheap

Housing Crisis ? Is there a case to be made to regenerate the East Cost mining towns in County Durham. There are train links to London & Newcastle, the houses cost peanuts and it's by the sea !
Appreciate the area might need some govt investment to attract people.
This house in Horden is £10K and a freehold,it's sold at auction but there are plenty in the area for under £50K
