Seems a bit anthropocentric. This huge and interesting universe has been trundling along nicely for literally billions of years, long before this planet had even condensed out of the spinning cloud of dust and gas that gave birth to our Solar system, never mind when a particular species of ape happened to evolve on it.
Similar deal with the kind of mumbo-jumbo that likes to say that minds or consciousness are somehow an integral part of reality in the same way that gravity or energy is, rather than consciousness being an incidental evolutionary adaptation produced by the billion-year churn of natural selection on this little damp rock.
As a species we really need to develop a proper sense of cosmic humility. Not this faux-humility propagated by spiritual types.
