Even without Ballack, Germany do have quite a few attacking options. Podowlski is a strong runner, Klose can poach with the best of them, and Schweinsteiger has shown more than once in this torunament his ability to ghost into the area from out wide and not be picked up. If they can get good set-pieces into the box, the height of Metzelder and Mertesacker will certainly threaten the Spanish goal.
On the other hand, if Torres can steal a yard on Metzelder or Mertesacker, I wouldn't have the highest confidence in Lehmann to come out of top every time. I thought Xavi had a quiet semi, but if he's in the groove so much can emerge from his boots.
