I just finished this. I kind of quite enjoyed it but I didn't think it was funny, at all.

I watched the first episode and half of the second this morning and so far I feel the same. The lostness/meno angle is very relatable, the whole 'eccentric locals' shtick I'm finding really annoying. Although perhaps that's because I'm in the menopause so everything is annoying.

Agreed. The first episode was excellent and really powerful, it’s a shame imo it went in a weird, almost surreal direction, when it had so much potential as a more grounded comedy drama.
