Citydreams - Due to the secluded (and liberal!) nature of this beach you don't get many families. Even if you did it could be quite funny - it was funny in Italy watching the bemused look on Italian families' faces when coming across a soundsystem and loads of munted english people. You still bringing your iPod? could be a good back-up.

Vixen, IIRC it is a stoney beach but with a sandy stretch when the tide goes out.
wic!

Right I am about to go offline until after the party. Any further questions and you'll have to call/text me.

Andiamo a spiagge!

Metchecks weather forecast has pushed the rain back to sunday luchtime!! :D

and they say there is 40% chance that the rain won't even get here and will go to france instead.

I really enjoyed that! Mucho hassle to get to, but well worth the effort. Great sounds, much more chilled than Metaponto, lovely people, bonfires and a lone nudist who had been planning to spend a quiet night on the beach, joining in the fun.

Massive repect to the organisers and the people who lugged all that heavy equipment such a long way.

The rain held off until about 5am, then they put a plastic sheet over me and the decks - it was like DJing in a really small tent!

It was such a shame that Oddworld and Garf came all that way and couldn't find it. :(

Hope everyone else who came enjoyed it as much as me.

:)

Top beach party action! It was a bit of a mission to get there & back but it was totally worth it! Thanks to Maggot for letting us all know about it and to Iemanja for some heroic driving there and back! :)

Not half! :) That little stream on the way down had a bit more life on the way back. Thankyou onemonkey for leaving your tent - it became a mini hospital for wrysmile while we worked out what to do with her.

But otherwise, had a BRILLIANT time.

Who was the boat man? And why didn't we have one?

Oh, I never want to see another naked man as long as I live - I will be haunted by the site of nudists carrying speakers as long as I live.

I could make a joke about quarter inch jack, but it would be bad taste, so I won't.

Good party, shame carrying the bloody speaker wore me out so much I just wanted to sleep for half of it!

Great if not weird night :)

Lovely to spend time with the people that were there :)

Onemonkey your a star for sorting the car and getting us down there

Photos to follow :)

That was a great adventure! :D

The walk to get to the beach was very treacherous but stunning. At one point we get lost and found ourselves right at the edge of a cliff!!! Fantastic location with beautiful rocks and a full moon shinning on the sea. The sound was very good too, very clear, lots of respect to organisers! The walk back up was great too, walking in the heavy rain was refreshing and woke us up, although it was a very demanding uphill walk.

So, were the guys on the boat just passing by or did they know someone at the party?

The naked man told us this was the best party he'd even been to when he was lying down in his sleeping bag then he shouted 'ganja deprivation, I'm dying of ganja deprivation'. :D Fair play to him though, he was naked all night, and didn't freeze his bollocks off.

Vintage party! (Although the drive back was very difficult as I didn't have a sleep and I got a terrible migraine half hay home!!!)

Glad you got home safely Iemanja.. I too drove home and it was pretty hard going...

It was such a mad night I'm not sure if it happened :D

that was hilarious!
i had a great time, cheers mag!

walking back up to the car in the morning was quite a task, it has to be said.

lovely to spend time with all you guys.
:)

Had a great night - thanks to Maggot for orchestrating such a fun beach event and the organisers were really nice guys too. A slight downside is that my foot is now like a mini balloon thanks to falling in a hole in the path on the way down, twisting my left ankle and wrenching my right knee - so at least the pain is even on both sides. I don't even have the excuse of being totally out of it (ok, a little bit out of it) I was just walking and had my head turned chatting excitedly to people behind me.... and down I went!! Note to self: LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GOING, FFS  !!!! Citydreams and friends cared for me admirably after I finally noted I was having trouble walking in the early hours. The walk back up the hill was hellish.... great party though!!

twas a mellow moonlit evening (with a fair bit of mooning)... i didn't find the journey there or back too taxing.. (thanks to Lib for doing the return journey.)

the hill wasn't too bad either.. although arriving in the daylight probably helped hugely.. even if it wasn't certain that we had arrived until the sound system eventually turned up. even carrying the amp in the dark wasn't too bad.. though i feel guilty that we weren't there to help carry everything back up the hill

i had a paddle and it wasn't too cold so i'm kinda regretting not going in the sea

music was just right, atmosphere fun and friendly..

thanks Maggot!
