Tickets for Stewart Lee Vs The Man-Wulf in York on Thursday. Been looking forward to it for ages. Off with the two friends I saw Snowflake/Tornado with in 2022, and we're all geniuses because we like him.

First intersubjective, then internalised
We saw it on Jan 2 in Leicester Square. Very much enjoyed it, but less so than his previous few offerings. I put that a bit down to the fact that it was a slightly weird crowd and very early in his run, but also that his through-line is less defined (as he actually said himself on stage, of course!)
I’ve got to say, though, that there are some individual bits that are amongst the very funniest things I’ve ever seen in any medium. The whole trip would have been worth it just for those bits alone, regardless of what else he’d done. Plus I got a t-shirt

The last three shows I've seen him do have been great and hopefully I'll be going to this one somewhere this year too.
After Basic Lee I also got to briefly meet him and get a signed copy of Fist of Fun S1 DVD too, which was much like getting the moon on a stick.
