Spooks Series 4!

أرفع الشفرات
The other day I saw a 2 second "trailer" on the beeb that went "bum bum" (the Spooks jingle) and had the Spooks graphics on so looks like it's comin on soon!

I know Series 3 is out on DVD on the 5th of september (my birthday if anyone wants to buy it for me!) and they usually coincide these things

Anyone else excited?!

Me too

Poor old Danny though :( Liked him. Wonder who's replacing him?

Yeah the first series or two kicked ass, but the dialogue and story lines just seemed to get a bit shit after Tom split :(

I think series 4 will be alot better as last series there were lots of comings and goings (it was in transition) now everyone's settled we should be able to get back to series 1 & 2 standard (hopefully!!)

Yea but they do these "teaser" trailers for a few weeks then starts the proper trailers for a few weeks then sometime in 2007 we get a trailer informing us that it starts this monday!

i've only seen series 1 and 2, on DVD. I heard 3 was a lot worse. Shame, cos I thought with those 2 series it was one of the best things the BBC has done in a long, long time.

I for one like the way the series has such a high turnover of characters. Adds real tension that other shows like (to pull something out of thin air) Star Trek doesn't have, because you know that come hell or high water the main characters are going to be okay: the fun is not in seeing whether they can get out of their problems, but how they do it. Spooks works on both those levels: can they get out of this one, and if so how are they going to do it?

I saw a fairly substantial trailer for it the other night.

Not that fussed, it's a bit silly really. Preferred the con trick thing with the man from uncle.

I really went off of Spooks when Tom left, it went down hill for me after that. :D
Same here. I know why they keep axing characters, but you want to keep a couple of long timers in there or people lose interest. And Tom was cute.

Well was pretty good but why oh why did they have to ruin tomorrow's episode by telling us who the mole was?! Ok it was pretty obvious (to the extent where you think it blatently think it must be someone else) but still, no need to ruin it in the trailer for the next show!

Too bloody right! - bad trailer-ige BBC staff editor!

I don't like two-parters though. I don't watch tv in the evenings regularly enough for them

Entertaining, but more pro-spook propaganda. Interesting the way 'eco-terrorists' preposterously get lead billing, albeit run by the US spooks. Mind you, what is TKs view of this angle?? ;) ;) . Perhaps we need to do some digging on the South coast.....

I thought that episode was absolutely shit compared to some of the previous stuff.

Some decent lines - but not really a patch on a lot of the older stuff.

I know - wtf?! Very fucking irritating. Yes it was pretty obvious but it hardly makes you want to tune in tomorrow evening, does it?

Other than that, the new blokes are all pretty cute so I'm happy on the eye candy front. :D

Just so you know, episode 2 is on tomorrow (tue 13) and episode three is on thursday (15th) at 10:30

After that it seems like its gonna be on a thursdays at either 9pm or 10:30pm (not sure why it doesn't just have one time!)

I liked most of it, except the bleeping bombs and the use of Ye Olde "Silly Civilian Is Left Behind By Competent Person While He Investigates A Dangerous Situation Only For Silly Civilian To Blunder Into Danger" Cliche.
