So... John Terry

thats what the bosses want you to believe - character assasination/he's one bad apple etc. - hes dared to speak for his comrades - support him and man the barricades!

We salute him for his solidarity with his struggling French comrades.

You don't think their millions are invested in profit-making, exploitative businesses?

so are teachers pension! footballers are the perfect example of the working class exploited by capitalists in every possible way - taken out of education and milked for every penny the bosses and capitAlists can get! SMASH CAPELLO, SMASH THE FA, WORKERS CONTROL OF THE SQUAD NOW!

they are indeed. class analysis is structural, not based on earnings!

So how does the fact that John Terry works for a company that is (and is going to remain for the foreseeable) massively loss-making, largely because it pays him amongst others more money than it brings in, fit in?:p

hes just a pawn in the game - the profitability and other financial aspects of a capitalist football team are neither here nor there - many capitalists like to have a football team to own and toy with, and are happy to pump in money even if it makes a loss, as perhaps one of the grossest act of Bourgeois vanity to world has yet witnessed! Oh, to look down on those smiling prole faces from the directors box... Wimbledon Athletic is the model at the grassroots, a now Terry has set the spark for the fire to burn from within!

Besides, what is at stake here is a case of a players take-over and a setting of an example to the power of the workers over their fat cat bosses.

Capello today :"'There is no revolution, it's about one player" - in your dreams! the whole team has been talking, and let us hope and pray that they shall stand up and be counted, for who really controls the means of goal production but the players themselves!

LOLZ @ Ska's analysis.

Terry is a twat. "I was born to do this". You silly, over-inflated twunt.

Now he's apologized. Grade A knob.

I also can't help but think of the other 'senior' players who would have said 'yeah agree with you John, something's got to be done' and other encouraging comments and then totally bottled it. In a sense it's even more pathetic than Terry, if that's possible.

Reads just like a Gordon Brown coup plot.

Yep he can think whatever the hell he likes, tho i his case "think" might be pushing it, you don't say that shit in a press conference before a critical game. Grade A cock...really hope England get knocked out and that twat is alienated by the media preferably by scoring an own goal or 3.

I haven't a clue what happened, and this thread isn't really helping!

What exactly did John Terry do that he apologised to Capello for?

(personally, I think he should've bowed out of the team after shagging his team-mate's wife, anyone with any dignity would've done that, but hey, he's still here).

He was put up for one of the daily England press conferences and used the opportunity to openly question Capello and suggested he wasn't the only one in the squad who had doubts..

He then sabotaged Joe Cole's chances of getting a game by questioning why he hasn't been been playing, saying that he and Rooney are the only decent attacking players in the team.

Its safe to say England wont be putting him up for another press conference anytime soon.

Bloody hell!
Thanks :)

Well, what with media barons, ney sayers, and other lackeys attempting to squash the revolution, and the petit-bourgeois reformist tendencies of Lampard only further marring the failure of the majority of the team to stand up and take control of their destinies - despite their significant majority of 23 against one - it is looking increasingly that John Terry will be forced to take the position of Communism in One Player! Fear not, for the spirit of workers' control and self-determination lives on in Comrade Terry - though his noble action may well have to be carried out from the hotel bedroom, or possibly from his luxury house in the home counties.

This is why i find it hard to support the England team. What. a. dick.

"hey, you know what? I'm at the point where I don't care if it upsets him!"

"yeah, I'm really sorry about any offence I caused the team, the players, the manager, my nan, my drug dealing dad, my shoplifting mum or wayne bridge."

He is still pissed off about not being captain. "I'm a big voice in the dressing room".

Dick.
