Snickers ice cream - it’s not going well..

I bet Mars Wrigley wish they’d stuck with the original snickers, which two thirds of urbanites prefer to Mars bars

Their snickers branded ice cream bar is only bringing them grief at the moment. First a recall in Austria , Italy, France and Sweden due to excessive levels of ethylene oxide within the product, and now the spectacle of a homophobic ad campaign in Spain which they are getting (rightly) hammered for!

Mars bars seem to have changed a lot, my recollection was that they were firm and chewey but now they seem soft and gloopy which isn't nice at all.

I picked up a multipack of Marathon (snickers) at a supermarket. When opened it turned out to be some kind of cut down bar, each one about the size of a single snapped of length of a kit kat, but shorter. A thoroughly underwhelming snack experience
