Should I buy this guitar?

I like the look of it, it's cheap, I looked up the make and it seems The Jesus and Mary Chain used one! The lack of tremolo arm is offputting though. Not sure if I should hold off and see if one comes up on ebay.

I'd go round with a screwdriver and if I was happy that it could be set up to play nicely I would buy it.

As you can see I already have a 1972 Telecaster Deluxe, it doesn't hold a candle to my flying V. Fat neck with the rather silly and weak fender bolt on style. Sounds OK but nothing special. My one complaint about Gibsons is the weak input sockets mounted in the plastic scratch plates. Way too easy to bust, I'm always breaking the V. I'm trying to make a custom section of tough metal scratchplate to resolve the problem.

my first electric guitar was one of these or something similar. complete and utter shite. I ended up trying to blow it up with gun powder emptied from bangers. Kids today are lucky - todays cheap guitars are infinitely better.

Puts me in mind of a Satellite guitar - cheapest electric when I was a nipper but that one looks even cheaper
